2025 Scientific Meeting of the Canadian DOHaD Society
The 8th DOHaD Canada Annual Scientific Meeting was held in Montreal, Quebec on May 12, 2025.
Dr. Shela Hirani, DOHaD Canada’s Council Member received the prestigious “CNPRM 2025 ECR Award” and was graciously invited to deliver a plenary session on “Dismantling Breastfeeding Barriers during Disasters and Displacement: Challenges, Opportunities and Way Forward”. The esteemed research event was hosted by the DOHaD Canada and Canadian National Perinatal Research Meeting (CNPRM) in Montreal, Canada. This recognition honors Dr Hirani’s research output, strong commitment to maternal-child health, and advocacy for supportive interventions in the most vulnerable settings.
